Chapter 38: Internal Fight

Looking at the group in front of him, Tang Sen appeared extremely relaxed. Tang Sen clearly knew that the Capricorn Tribe would cease to exist after this fire.

Although doing this might seem cruel, it was absolutely necessary to do so at this moment.

The system notifications’ incessant sounds meant that the members of the Capricorn Tribe beside him were disappearing one by one. With the system’s last ring, this world’s Capricorn Tribe ceased to exist.

Although it seemed cruel, Tang Sen felt like they deserved this fate when he thought about the smaller tribes that had been killed and tormented by the Capricorn Tribe.

On the other hand, the three tribes that escaped had a hard time. The Dwarfs had previously given tribes—like the Capricorn Tribe—some weapons. But due to the time constraints, the three tribes did not get anything this time. It was a classic case of ‘suffering a double loss.’

In the beginning, Tang Sen’s skill was not too directional. Although most of the Capricorn Tribe’s members seemed to have been burned to death, one would realize that each tribe’s casualty number essentially within a certain range if one counted carefully.

But the tribes in front of Tang Sen clearly didn’t think this way. They were originally united because of benefits. It also didn’t seem overboard for them to fight over benefits either.

“Is this the incompetent tribe that you were talking about?” asked the Brutal Wolf Tribe’s leader—who was the first to encounter trouble. He was clearly infuriated because of this matter.

Actually, the Dwarfs were extremely puzzled. To them, Tang Sen was not a powerful existence, but someone who had caused them to lose many members right from the start.

But even though the Brutal Wolf Tribe was furious, the Dwarfs didn’t give them a satisfactory answer. “Don’t panic. My dear friends, something clearly must’ve gone wrong somewhere, but I don’t think it’ll be a huge problem.”

The Dwarfs spoke in a tone that they were used to. But the words that the other tribes said were rather unpleasant. They initially decided to join because they could see the benefits. But they were obviously unwilling to discuss this matter now that they had failed and the Dwarfs refused to compensate them.

“Do you know how much your mistake has caused us to lose?” questioned the Centaur Tribe’s leader, who was originally the neutral party who eased the tension between the tribes. They were clearly displeased because of this matter.

However, the Blood Panther Tribe’s displeasure was not obvious because the Dwarfs could give great benefits. The ones who appeared this time were basically the strongest of the batch.

“Do you think it’s going to be over just by sitting here?” The Blood Panther Tribe was the strongest among the three remaining tribes. They spoke in a hostile manner too.

Looking at the tribe leaders in front of them, the Dwarfs felt just as helpless. Initially, Tang Sen was already an existence that was not to be trifled with and whom they could not rival. Under such circumstances, the best way to subdue Tang Sen would be to eliminate the tribes that were blocking them.

However, their plan was a complete failure as there was basically no change in the situation.

“Enough! Things are not at their worst yet.” The Dwarfs actually did not think much about the outcome of the matter, but it was impossible for them to take out the things that they had previously promised.

“Who knows whether the attack failed because he’s too strong or you guys are too weak?” questioned the Dwarf. His words had angered the Beastkind in front of him.

At this point, even the Centaur Tribe’s members—who were mild-mannered—were infuriated now.

“In that case, we will no longer entertain you from now on,” said the Centaur Tribe’s leader, who could no longer be bothered about manners. His tone was extremely hostile.

The Brutal Wolf Tribe’s leader and the Blood Panther Tribe’s leader expressed their intention to leave. Thus, the alliance—which was formed because of interests—came to an end.

“Chief? This is not the route back to our tribe.” The Centaur Tribe’s members were confused to see where their chief was heading. He was not one to make a mistake in such matters.

“Of course, it isn’t. Let’s go and look for the Aquila Tribe and see if they accept our sincerity.” The Centaur Tribe’s Chief sighed slightly. At this moment, the right thing to do was obviously to express their sincerity to worship the Divine Spirit.

Tang Sen was surprised by the Centaur Tribe’s intentions as well. After all, the Centaur Tribe was one of the eight major tribes. It was Tang Sen’s first time seeing a major tribe submitting to him in such a way.
